Lori Anderson
After retiring in 2002 and taking a trip to Italy, Lori Anderson had the time and was inspired to paint. She wanted to capture the architecture of Venice, the rolling hills and picturesque towns of Tuscany.
Lori works in Oil and Acrylic and likes to try different styles of painting and different subject matter. She went from landscapes to large florals and still life. Lori loves painting animals. Recently Lori has been painting abstract art and loves it! For her, it is color and lots of it!
Painting teaches Lori to go beyond merely looking at something to really seeing it. Being able to capture what she sees with paint is magical.
In addition to being a member of Gold Country Artists Gallery in Placerville, Lori also has art on display at Folsom City Hall and Willow Cafe in Folsom.
