A native Northern Californian, Carol Clark has been snapping photos since she had her first Brownie, but she didn’t develop an interest in exhibiting and selling her photography in art shows until she lived in Hattiesburg for a few years and was invited to join the Southern Mississippi Art Association.
When Carol moved back to California in 2011, she settled in the woods above the Pleasant Valley area of Placerville and began exploring the area. She has a deep appreciation for natural beauty – landscapes, wildlife, human, architectural – which she strives to reflect in the colors, textures and subjects of her photography. Her favorite shooting locations include Northern California, Oregon, Nevada, Montana, and Canada.
Carol is a member of the El Dorado Hills Artists Association, Folsom Arts Association, Sacramento Fine Arts Center, and Placerville Arts Association.
Please visit her work at Gold Country Artists Gallery and online at www.carolclark.com. I hope you enjoy my photography as much as I've enjoyed capturing it.
